Hosting and infrastructure
Our website is a static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages and served through Cloudflare's global network. Because the public site is made of fixed pages with no database or content management system behind it, the attack surface is very small and there is no website admin login that could be compromised.
Cloudflare provides a global content delivery network (CDN), DDoS protection, a web application firewall, and automatic performance optimisation for visitors worldwide.
Access controls
Administration of the website is restricted to authorised individuals within our team. We enforce strong password policies, use limited-access user roles, and review permissions regularly. No one has more access than they need to do their job.
Data collected through the website
When you submit a contact form on our website, the information is sent directly to our team by email. We do not store form submissions in a database on the site.
We do not currently take payments on this website. When our online shop opens, orders and payments will be handled by established, PCI-DSS compliant payment providers. Your card details are entered directly with the payment provider and are never stored on our website or servers.

West End Bed Company carries full commercial insurance covering stock, property, trading liability, damage during delivery, and injury to visitors at our premises. We review our cover annually to ensure it remains appropriate for the business.

In the unlikely event of a security breach affecting personal data, we would act immediately in accordance with ICO guidance. This includes assessing the risk, notifying affected individuals where required, and reporting to the Information Commissioner's Office within the mandated timeframe.
